These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Career Paths, a Milan-based consulting agency specializing in academic counseling, admissions guidance, and educational services (“Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Career Paths provides personalized academic consulting, university application assistance, admissions test preparation, academic orientation, and related services (“Services”). Our services are highly individualized and tailored specifically to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients (“you” or “your”) agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Promptly notify the Agency of any changes in information.
• Actively participate in consultations, provide necessary documentation, and adhere to mutually agreed deadlines.
• Independently verify application deadlines, program requirements, and specific university regulations as these may change without prior notice.

4. Fees and Payments

All fees must be paid as agreed upon in your consulting agreement. Payments must be completed in full prior to the commencement of services unless an approved installment plan is in place.

Refunds, if applicable, will be governed by the specific terms of your individual consulting agreement. Services already rendered are non-refundable.

5. No Guarantee of Admission

Career Paths offers professional guidance and expertise in educational planning and application processes. However, we explicitly do not guarantee admission or acceptance into any school, university, or program. Outcomes depend on numerous factors outside our control, including, but not limited to, decisions made by academic institutions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 General Limitations

Career Paths is not liable for:

• Changes to university admission criteria, application procedures, deadlines, or requirements made by educational institutions.
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies made by educational institutions or third-party providers.
• Any consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages arising from or related to the use of our services.
  In no event shall Career Paths’ total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

6.2 No Warranty

All services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Career Paths, its staff, consultants, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, misuse of services, or infringement of third-party rights.

6.4 Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, wars, pandemics, technical failures, or government restrictions.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials provided by Career Paths, including documents, reports, resources, written advice, video recordings, presentations, and website content (collectively, “Materials”), are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. These Materials are solely for personal, non-commercial use.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, resale, or use of our proprietary methods or Materials is strictly prohibited without our explicit written consent.

If the client is under 18 years of age (or under the relevant age of consent per local law), parental or guardian consent is required for participation in our Services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law, and any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Milan, Italy.
